中國氣象服務協會成立於2015年，是中國氣象部門成立的第一個全國性、行業性、非營利性社會組織。協會有近700名成員，其中約60%來自私營部門。18個專業委員會是來自氣象行業或高度受氣象影響的行業。如氣象設備、旅遊、農業、金融、保險等。基本上，中國氣象服務協會的核心使命是做政府的助手，企業的幫手，行業的推手。

China Meteorological Service Association（ CMSA） were established in 2015, which is the only national, sector-oriented, non-profit organization in China for the meteorological industry. CMSA have nearly 700 members, and about 60% are from private sectors. The 18 Specialized Committees are meteorological industries or high meteorological impacted industries.
